The Staring Down Evil is the first of six quests in The Gloom Lord Quest. You get this mission after finishing the Royal Feast quest.

For completing this mission you will get 
2,000 Coins Coins and 
20 XP. After completion The Book of Sinister appears and you would be able to start the Book of Sinister Schemes mission.
